Loan Application Process

Where can I find the loan application form?

Click on the Loan Application Link below or go to the Borrowing section of the website for additional information.

Can I email my application form(s) to the credit union?

Yes. You can email your application form and all supporting documents to loans@pocumd.org.

Can I apply for a loan online?

Yes. Log in to Online Banking. Go to New Accounts. Select Loans to begin your online loan application.

You can also apply for a loan via the POCUMD Mobile App. After you login, select “Apply for Loan” located on the home page. Follow the steps to complete your loan application.

Why doesn’t my login username and password still work?

If you enrolled in online banking prior to August 1, 2022 – your Username is still your ACCOUNT Number. You should have received an email from info@poucmd.org in mid-July with your new temporary password.

Can you send me the email again?

Call the credit union at 410-727-5469.

How do I reset my password?

There is an option called “Forgot Password”. Click on the link and follow the directions. Or contact POCUMD at 410-727-5469.

How long do I have to wait to get my new password?

If you call POCUMD at 410-727-5469, it’s immediate.

I can’t remember my Username.

Use the “Forgot my Log In ID” button. Click on the link and follow the directions. Or call POCUMD at 410-727-5469.

Why don’t I see any forms?

Everything is now electronic and can be done online. To complete a form you will do everything online at POCUMD.org

How do I get online banking on my phone?

Go to the Google Play Store or the App Store. Search for Post Office Credit Union of MD and download the application.

How do I deposit a check into my account using my mobile device?

Follow these easy steps to make a check deposit using your Apple or Android mobile phone.

  1. Sign the back of the check.

  2. Write “Remote Deposit at POCUMD” and the date under your signature.

  3. Log into the POCUMD Mobile app.

  4. Take a picture of the front and back of the check.

  5. After the deposit is made, write “Deposited at POCUMD” and the date on the front of the check.

  6. Hold on to the check for up to 14 business days.

  7. And just like that the credit union receives your check and will deposit it into your account.
